Anti-Olympic protesters are clashing with police on the streets of Vancouver on the first full day of the 2010 Winter Games.
Vancouver Police say a group of more than 200 masked protesters have amassed in the downtown core, kicking and vandalizing cars and businesses.
Organizer Harsha Walia says there were several hundred protesters gathered in the downtown and witnesses say the windows of the HBC Olympic superstore were smashed.

Olympian Phelps coming to Hoffman Estates
P.S. I forgot to watch Mikey Fred on the View this morning so if anyone finds video please post. I've been looking for pics but so far no dice.

Olympic phenom Michael Phelps is to appear Saturday at a Hoffman Estates sporting goods store.
The swimmer who won eight gold medals in Beijing will be at the new Sports Authority at 4700 Hoffman Boulevard to hawk the PureSport brand of sports performance beverages.
Phelps is to appear from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to sign autographs and meet fans. It'll be his only Sports Authority appearance in the Chicago area.
The Hoffman Estates Sports Authority, which opened Oct. 18, is located off Route 59 just north of I-90, the Jane Addams Tollway.
