ONTD Olympics is a community devoted to bringing you up-to-date on anything Olympics-related. From swimming to gymnastics and beyond, you can find articles, pictures and much more! Check the community tags for access to hundreds of entries about some of the star athletes of Beijing and beyond!

Rules
1. Membership is moderated due to some of the content posted here. If you were rejected, please refer to our mother community ONTD's post about why people there get rejected. It's pretty much one of those exact same reasons. Your journal needs to be at least a month old so we can make sure you aren't a troll.

2. TAG YOUR ENTRIES. There is a convenient instructional post here. Do it.

3. This is a community for discussing any and all things related to the Olympics, not your Britney Spears memorabilia collection or the daily live of your pet rock. In other words, don't post about it. If you get a little OT in your comments, that's fine, but when it starts to get crazy, take it to your personal journals.

4. Take the drama elsewhere. We don't want it here. If you have beef with another member, then go duke it out on their journal. This community is not here so people can listen to your bitching.

5. Our policy regarding things like athletes' facebooks. If they add you as a friend, they're giving you access to their profile, but please be cautious with what you post and in general, do not post pictures from the facebook/myspace of athletes who are under 21, and do not post pictures that were obtained by adding athletes friends/family. That is off-limits.

6. Freezing and/or deleting comments is stupid. Don't do it.

7. Take the butterface comments elsewhere. Olympic athletes are different from Hollywood celebrities. Not to discredit actors, but do not come in here comparing Michael Phelps to Paris Hilton, or calling Nastia Liukin a rich, spoiled brat. You try doing what they do, practicing and working hard almost their entire lives. These athletes work hard day in and day out and deserve whatever media exposure they get. You might not find them attractive, but you can't deny their talent. So don't.

8. Fake athlete journals are funny and acceptable, but don't get out of hand, okay? :)
